From February 18 to 21, 2025, members of the ALF Project administration team from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, conducted an official visit to the University of Surrey. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and facilitate the exchange of best practices in administrative processes between the two institutions.

Vanja Eror, Miona Mina Vukanic, and Petar Pavlovic, representing the ALF Project team, engaged in extensive discussions with Maria Sega Buhalis from the ALF partner institution University of Surrey’s Project Administration Office.

The first two days of the visit were dedicated to a series of meetings where both teams presented their respective administrative frameworks. These discussions provided valuable insights into the operational procedures governing project coordination and management at both institutions, highlighting areas for potential collaboration and mutual learning.

On the final day of the visit, Maria Sega Buhalis delivered a comprehensive presentation on the organization and functioning of the Project Administration Office at the University of Surrey. Her presentation covered the structural and managerial aspects of research project administration, focusing on financial management, reporting procedures, and compliance with funding requirements. She also shared best practices in administrative coordination, emphasizing the importance of efficiency and adaptability in managing international academic collaborations. Her insights provided the ALF Project team with a clearer understanding of administrative models at Surrey, offering valuable references for refining processes within their home institution.

This visit marked a significant step toward enhancing administrative collaboration of ALF project partners fostering institutional cooperation, and reinforcing the exchange of knowledge essential for effective project management.
